Fox git information
The ObjCryst++ and Fox source code is stored in a git repository. This is were you should get the source code if you want to test the latest Fox developments, without waiting for snaphsots.
You can browse the git repository.
Downloading Fox from scratch from the git repository
- However, you can still check the source code directly from the git repository using:
git clone http://git.code.sf.net/p/objcryst/git Fox cd Fox/Fox ln -s gnu.mak Makefile # for Linux (for MacOS X, use macosx.mak) cd ../ObjCryst ln -s rules-gnu.mak rules.mak
- This should be enough to compile Fox (the fftw, wxWidgets, cctbx, newmat and freeglut will be downloaded as needed).
Updating from git repository
Simply doing git pull from the top Fox directory will update you to the latest version. This will also work from distributed versions of the Fox source code (newer than May 2015) where the .git directory is included.
